Kristina Whyte is an MBA student at Yale School of Management, class of 2018. During her time at Yale Kristina completed an internship at NewWorld Capital, a private equity firm that invests in clean energy and green technology. Kristina participated in MIINT, an impact investing student competition, sourcing Blockchain companies. Prior to business school, Kristina worked in the Finance department at the Wallace Foundation, whose mission is to provide funding to education and arts programs for children in underserved areas. Kristina started her career in public accounting and financial services, working at Ernst & Young, Deloitte and Morgan Stanley. Kristina is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Temple University, Philadelphia PA.
Kristina is the co-founder and host of Impact On Record, a podcast about impact investing, which engages in conversations with impact investors and social entrepreneurs. At Yale Kristina sits on the Yale Black Business Alliance board, promoting the awareness of cultural and social issues. Since 2015 Kristina has been a board member of College Summit ELC, which helps underrepresented high school students apply and graduate from college. Kristina is a 2017 Princeton Emerging Leader Fellow, emerging leaders in Philanthropy. Kristina was the Finance Chairperson of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, NY a network of professionals promoting social justice and racial equity. Kristina volunteers for various events with the Pike Past Students Association, which aids underserved children in Jamaica, WI and Brooklyn, NY.
